Booking Terms and Conditions


Please read carefully before booking as this is a binding agreement.


To participate in an Orígenes Travel trip (in this document recognized as a trip or tour) I accept the following terms and conditions: All reservations are made with "Experiencias Origenes Travel SL", a company based in Spain, CIF B787878, High Activity: XXUYT. By booking a trip with us, paying a deposit or signing this agreement, you agree to all the terms of this agreement on behalf of yourself and everyone else on your reservation and you indicate to us that we provide the services to all travelers included in your reservation. booking. The terms and conditions set forth in this agreement constitute the entire understanding and agreement between you, the Traveler ("you" or "your") and Orígenes Travel with respect to each and every reservation, trip or transaction made with Orígenes Travel. By signing this agreement, you also agree to our Code of Conduct, which is available at the following link. All Travelers must be 18 years of age or older to travel with Orígenes Travel, unless expressly stated otherwise. When a minor under 18 years of age is allowed to take a trip, they must be accompanied by an authorized adult.


I Travel insurance requirements

It is mandatory for all Orígenes Travel travelers to provide proof of current travel insurance before commencing their trip. Travel insurance should cover the costs of personal injury, medical treatment, repatriation and evacuation, including helicopter rescue and air ambulance internationally. It is recommended that travel insurance also covers personal property and trip cancellation coverage. Trip cancellation insurance may be the only means of receiving reimbursement for flights and other non-refundable expenses in the event that an Orígenes Travel trip is canceled, postponed, interrupted or rescheduled for any reason, whether voluntarily by you or as a result of Orígenes Travel's decision. You are responsible for understanding the details of your travel insurance policy, ensuring that your policy covers all optional and included activities listed in the travel itinerary, and ensuring that there are no exclusion clauses (for example, air delays due to mechanical problems) that would limit the coverage you might reasonably need. If you have current health insurance coverage, check your insurance policy to see if it provides the coverage described above while traveling outside your country. It is your responsibility to check the details of your insurance policy with your insurance provider to ensure Orígenes Travel requirements are met. You agree to assume all costs of medical care and transportation provided to you and any minors traveling with you during the trip. Please note that most companies offering travel insurance require the policy to be purchased within 14 days of the trip deposit or initial payment to any service provider to cover pre-existing conditions or to provide "cancellation due to cancellation" coverage. any reason."

II Deposits, Payments, Returns and Cancellations

Reservations can be made through our online reservation system or through an authorized travel agent. You must pay a $500 non-refundable deposit for your reservation to be confirmed. Final payment must be made no later than 60 days prior to trip departure, unless otherwise stated in the Special Conditions or on the itinerary page on our website for a specific trip. For reservations made 60 days or before the trip departure date, the full trip cost is due when the reservation is confirmed and is non-refundable. Carefully review applicable deposit and payment schedules. Please note that a reservation is not accepted and no contract exists between us until we confirm your reservation in writing (via email). The following are specifically excluded from travel fares and are the sole responsibility of each Traveler: Airfare; travel insurance; costs of obtaining passports; visas; excess baggage charges; tips; items of a purely personal nature; drinks; laundry; international airport departure tax (payable in US dollars or acceptable foreign currencies); excursions or deviations from any travel itinerary. We will not be responsible for deposits, payments, policies or fines for other services not included, such as airline tickets, separate hotel reservations or other items handled by you and not through us. Different travelers on the same trip may have been charged different prices. Your best option, if you like the price you see, is to book now. Any reduced prices or discounts that may be available after you have paid your deposit will not apply. If you wish to cancel your booking to take advantage of a lower price, the full cancellation policy set out below in our cancellation policy applies.

Authorization to Charge Credit/Debit Card for Final Deposit.

If we do not receive payment by the due date, including final payments, we reserve the right to charge the credit card on file for the amount due. If payment fails, we will have the right, at our discretion, to treat the missed payment as a breach of contract, cancel your reservation and impose the cancellation fees specified in this agreement. We also reserve the right to assign your spot to the next eligible traveler on the waitlist without any refund to you.

Credit/debit card return policy.

If you are dissatisfied with our services for any reason, you agree not to file a chargeback with your credit or debit card company, either directly or through another person, including a travel agent, before you have given us the opportunity. to address the matter. By signing this agreement, you agree to work with us and any travel agent acting on your behalf in good faith to resolve your dispute and acknowledge that chargebacks are not an appropriate way to avoid our cancellation and refund policies. We will vigorously dispute any chargeback request, provide this agreement as proof that you agreed to our cancellation and refund terms, and reserve the right to report fraudulent chargebacks to authorities. If we win any chargeback you initiate, you agree to reimburse us for our attorneys' fees, time, costs and expenses in rebutting the chargeback and to pay any damages we suffer as a result of your chargeback dispute.

Cancellations on your part and unused services

Any cancellation by you will result in the forfeiture of your deposit and other monies you paid us for your trip, which are non-refundable. We cannot make any exceptions to this refund policy. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you have comprehensive travel insurance for each traveler within your group that includes trip cancellation/interruption coverage to help protect your financial investment in the trip. Below is more information about our cancellation policy, which we recommend you read carefully.

If your trip is subject to special cancellation and refund conditions, they will appear on your quoted itinerary. Special cancellation and refund terms may apply to your trip due to force majeure reasons (e.g. during a pandemic such as coronavirus) or as your trip requires (e.g. suppliers who have particular requirements deposit and cancellation).

If you decide to cancel your trip, the following charges will apply when we receive notification of your cancellation, unless otherwise stated in the Special Conditions or on the itinerary page of our website for a specific trip:

More than 61 days before departure: 100% of the initial trip deposit is non-refundable.

0 to 60 days before departure: 100% of the trip cost is non-refundable.

If you do not pay the balance of your trip 60 days or more before your departure date, your reservation will be treated as canceled by you, resulting in the forfeiture of your entire deposit and all monies collected from you.

Trip Planning Fee: All trip prices include a non-refundable trip planning fee of $500.00 per person. Any refund we provide to you for any reason will be less than the trip planning fee and any other non-recoverable costs, including any money we have advanced to our suppliers.

Payment method: All payments must be made by credit card. Prices are in US dollars and all payments must be made in US dollars.

Cancellation Process: To cancel your reservation, you must send us written notification by email to info@travelorigenes.com. Cancellation fees will be applied per person according to the schedule set forth in this section, based on the date we receive your written notice, not when you send the email.

Unused portion of trip (no refunds)

There will be no refunds for unused services, early departures, late arrivals or days missed from your itinerary for any reason. There will be no refund once the tour has started. Your decision not to participate in the tour due to government warnings or advisories, fear of travel or similar, will be considered a cancellation. Please note that if a disruption caused by Covid-19 prevents you from taking your trip, we will offer you as much flexibility as possible to allow you to reschedule your trip for a later date, although our cancellation policy will still apply if you cancel your trip. Flexibility will be affected by the policies and practices of our suppliers, which we do not control.

No refunds will be provided for any unused portion of your tour, including, but not limited to, if you are quarantined, a government refuses to exit/re-enter, or a provider refuses services if you develop symptoms or test positive for an infectious disease. Furthermore, we will have no liability to you, owe you a refund or owe you any compensation for loss, damage or injury or anything else if you become infected with a disease, illness or disease during your tour, or if a third party refuses the services. (for example, accommodation or transportation) if you show symptoms or test positive for an infectious disease. For example, we will not be liable to you if you are infected with a virus such as coronavirus in a hotel we reserve for you, if you are refused service at a hotel if you show symptoms of a contagious disease such as cough or fever, if you are unable to board a plane to your destination or returning home from your destination because you show symptoms of an illness, you must quarantine, and so on.
